Low protection level: DENSO's special valve motor is a fully enclosed squirrel-cage structure with short-term intermittent duty (10 min) self-cooling. A low protection level will cause the motor cavity to be wet or dust and other foreign objects intrude, and the motor insulation resistance will drop and cause damage.
Improper packaging, transportation and storage: The valve electrical packaging should be protected from rain, moisture and dust, and the packaging should be firm and reliable. Rainproof measures should be taken during transportation, and the products should be stored in a ventilated and dry place after arriving at the site, and should not be stored in the open air.
Improper control of valve electrical equipment selection and stroke position adjustment: There are two important parameters of valve electrical equipment. ①The opening and closing torque value should include the actual working torque value of the valve plus the torque value of the valve itself. The opening and closing torque value affects the use of the valve. Large force is easy to break, and small force is easy to leak. ②The stroke position control is related to the size of the valve diameter, the length of the opening and closing time, and the structure. The motor matched with the valve electrical equipment is a special motor with a short-time working system, and the time is 10-15min.
Failure of electrical protection and poor quality of electrical components: The micro switch in the valve electrical equipment is a key component of the control mechanism. When the valve exceeds the stroke position, the micro switch cuts off the power supply and plays an overload protection role. Most electric equipment manufacturers connect the stroke and torque protection in series. When overtravel or overtorque occurs, the micro switch will cut off the AC contactor coil control power in time, thereby cutting off the main circuit of the motor.
Loss of temperature control protection in the motor: There is a temperature control switch in the motor. When the valve motor is over torque or running for a long time, the motor temperature rises. When the temperature exceeds the set temperature value, the temperature control switch will immediately cut off the control circuit, which will play a role in protect the motor.
